Anastrozole 1.5mg x 30ml

Anastrozole, also known as Arimidex, is an aromatase-inhibiting peptide with a molecular formula of C17H19N5.  It has a molecular mass of 293.366.

Functionality of Anastrozole

According to scientific study based on animal test subjects, Anastrozole reversibly binds to the aromatase enzyme via the process of competitive inhibition, which is a form on enzyme inhibition in which binding the inhibitor to the active site on the enzyme prohibits attachment of the substrate and vice versa.  In this case, the presence of the peptide blocks the conversion of androgens to estrogens in peripheral tissues.  This essentially prohibits the synthesis of estrogen.

Benefits of Anastrozole

Scientific study on animal test subjects has determined that Anastrozole’s ability to prohibit synthesis could make it a key component in the treatment for post-surgical breast cancer, pre-menopausal metastasis, and post-menopausal metastasis.

While the root of these theories indicates studies on female animal test subjects, it should be noted that scientific study has derived a few conceptual benefits regarding the peptide and male animal test subjects.  Specifically, it has been determined that the presence of the peptide in male animal test subjects could conceivably quell the effects of excessive estrogens.  This in turn could make it a key factor in combating various issues that can be caused by an excessive amount of estrogen, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, gynecomastia, and symptoms that are associated with hypogonadism.  It is also thought that the peptide’s lessening of estrogen in male animal test subjects can lead to a lesser likelihood of chronic inflammation, stroke, and cardiac arrest.

Purely for Scientific Research

It should be emphasized that Anastrozole is just intended for scientific study at this point in time.  All Any findings or observations relating to the peptide’s overall functionality, mechanics, benefits, should exclusively be the product of study performed in a strictly contained environment such as a medical research facility or a laboratory.
